Bridge ShubhamBa Memorial Scholar

I  come  from  the  Balaghat  district  in  Madhya  Pradesh  and  am currently  pursuing  my  Master's  in  Labour  Studies  and  Practice  at TISS Mumbai. I chose this course due to its comprehensive approach to understanding both formal and informal sectors. My passion lies in improving the conditions of informal labourers and the working class  at  the  grassroots  work.  Growing  up  in  a  rural  and underdeveloped  area,  I  have  witnessed  firsthand  the  challenges  my community faces, and I am committed to making a difference. My  father  works  as  a  contract  labourer  and  our  family  faces significant  financial  hardships.  This  support  has  been  invaluable, alleviating  the  immediate  burden  and  allowing  me  to  focus  on  my studies  without  worrying  about  financial  constraints.  I  am  deeply grateful for this support, as it not only helped me cover my current expenses  but  also  gave  me  hope  for  continuing  my  education without financial stress in the upcoming semesters.
