Bridge Scholarships

The Bridge Scholarship program nurtures future leaders who exemplify values such as compassion, mindfulness, and selflessness. It accomplishes this by offering financial support to learners from marginalized communities, enabling them to pursue graduate studies at Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) in India. This comprehensive support includes a customized leadership development program, along with long-term mentoring and networking opportunities.

Bridge allows alumni, CSRs, non-profits, and individuals to initiate scholarships for students across courses at Universities. The funders have the liberty to formulate the eligibility criteria, time frame, and other modalities of the scholarship, in consultation with the University administration. Bridge facilitates the institutionalization of the scholarship, supports information dissemination, scholar selection and extends mentoring and guidance to selected awardees.

Coming from an elite educational institute in my graduation, TISS with it's melting pot of students was an eye-opener for me in terms of the relative privilege I come from.
