I grew up in a middle-class family. My father was a dedicated confectioner who tirelessly provided for our family. Witnessing his sacrifices, commitment, and financial management left a mark on my upbringing. Despite his absence, his joy in helping others left a lasting impact. Motivated by his spirit, I embarked on a journey to pursue my Master's at TISS, driven by a fervent desire to acquire the skills necessary to make a meaningful contribution to society. It was during my professional stint in one of the most remote corners of India, Kalahandi, Odisha, that I was confronted with a stark reality –a severe lack of education, particularly for women. Many were confined to early marriages and household chores, their potential stifled by the limitations imposed on them. Motivated by this, I want to work toward breaking the cycle by providing education opportunities. My goal is to empower women, allowing them to lead independent lives. Guided by my father's legacy, I strive to make a positive impact, helping others help themselves.
